About Taj Mahal :
Taj Mahal is the most beautiful structure of India. It is India’s star attraction and the most famous and popular amongst the tourists from all over the world. It is built in white marble and its white milky appearance attracts everyone. Its beauty is quite enough to spell bound the v isitors. This beautiful monumental structure was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his beloved wife – Mumtaz Mahal. This love monument took 22 years to be completed. It was designed and planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. Apart from its eye-catching design balance and perfect symmetry, the Taj Mahal is also noted particularly for its graceful domes, intricately carved screens and some of the best inlay work ever seen. Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
Arrive this morning at Delhi Airport. At the airport you would be greeted with flower garlands. Then you would be transferred to the pre-booked hotel. After refreshing drink and short time leisure, embark on local sightseeing tour of Delhi. Visit the major attractions of the city. Famous attractions of Delhi are Raj Ghat – the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, the Shanti Van – the cremation site of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, the Jama Masjid – the larges mosque of India, the Red Fort, the Qutub Minar – the largest tower of Asia, the Chandani Chowk – the bustling & colorful bazaars, the Humayun’s Tomb, the India Gate – all India war memorial, the Jantar Mantar Observatory, the President House, the Parliament House, the Birla Mandir, the Lotus Temple, the Akshardham Temple, the Connaught Circle (Rajiv Chowk), the Palika Bazaars, etc.
Day 02: Delhi – Agra
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Agra – the home of India’s star attraction Taj Mahal – situated in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India on the bank of the River Yamuna. Upon arrival in Agra, Vishranti Leisure Tours representative will assist you transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. After lavish lunch at the hotel visit the beautiful white marble love monument Taj Mahal and the magnificent Agra Red Fort. The beautiful love monument of Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal after her death. Spend evening at leisure or in your own individual activities. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03: Agra – Jaipur
In the early morning, visit to Taj Mahal at sunrise. Later drive to Jaipur – the fabled “Pink City” – the capital of Rajasthan, India. Upon arrival in Jaipur, Vishranti Leisure Tours representative will assist you to accommodate you into the pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Explore the famous attractions like the City Palace, the Hawa Mahal, the Jantar Mantar Observatory, the Rambagh Palace, etc. In the evening take a walking tour of the colorful streets and bazaars of Jaipur City. The beauty of Jaipur is that its unique architecture and town planning is visible at even the most common places such as its squares and lanes. Overnight stay will be at the hotel followed by sumptuous dinner.
Day 04: Jaipur – Jaisalmer
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Jaisalmer – the Golden City. Upon arrival, Vishranti Leisure Tours representative will assist you to transfer you to the hotel. After a short leisure, visit the Jaisalmer Fort (Golden Fort) situated on the highest point of the Trikuta Hill. Explore Jain temples and visit to the attractions like Salim-Singh-ki-Haveli, Patwon-ki-Haveli, etc. It time permits also explore the sand dunes by camel ride. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 05: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, drive to Jodhpur – the Blue City. Upon arrival in Jodhpur, Vishranti Leisure Tours representative will assist you to transfer you to the hotel. After a short leisure visit to the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, the Umaid Bhawan Palace & Museum, and the royal cenotaph of Jaswant Thada. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 06: Jodhpur – Udaipur – Delhi – Departure
In the early morning drive to Udaipur – the city of lakes. Upon arrival engage yourself half day sightseeing tour o f Udaipur visiting City Palace, Lake Palace and Pichola Lake. Then leave Rajasthan for Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, enjoy a farewell dinner organized by us and then you will be transferred to the Indira Gandhi International Airport in time to board flight for your home/onward destination.
